Mission Tampa part 1

Week 1

Monday, start of this diet for Tampa, 7 weeks ahead, this is my shortest diet ever. I did eat pretty much to load up muscles, last week was just light training and I minimized any hard workouts.  That generated lots of water and body weight jumped up as expected. 128kg on monday but now I´m much lower.

4000 kcals/day, 90 min cardio/day, next weekend I´ll do more cardio to get a needed boost to fat burning.

This week was hard training with Ville Rekola, 6-8 reps and lots of drop sets. Muscles are very sore, no pain no gain.

Rest and rest…

I´m sorry since I havent updated this blog recently. Trip to US and training twice a day did consume my energy, jet lag on top of that, I was so tired. Now I have to rest this week, just to recover from so called “vacation”. I do only light workouts with cardio to gain my energy levels back. Cardio is only 30min and training is just adapting to new technigues. My daily routine will not change this week, I will wake up and eat same time as ever.

I kept a same training routine at Golds, cardio in the morning and 2 training sessions each day. Trip was awesome, I did learn some new shit and photoshoots was a success. Thanks for Pauliina Talus and Ralph Dehaan. I will receave photos next week and photos will be published in a mag from Spain, I did a full interview with them just few days back.

So till next week when Mission Tampa will start

Bull in da Venice

Thursday:

  • 05:30 - Day started with 60min cardio + stretching.
  • 10:00 - Back and abs
  • 19:00 - Triceps and biceps  plus 30min cardio.

It was good to train when gym was already familiar and finding machines was easier. I loaded extra 1000 grams of carbs just to get full for saturdays photoshoot, it was something massive when muscles got pumped with 1kg of carbs.

Friday:

  • 05:30 - 60min cardio
  • 11:00 - At gym with Pauliina Talus. We checked some techniques for back training. I got pretty good new information about back training and will use those in the future for sure.
  • 19:00 - Delts.

Only one training session on friday, so I did relax a bit more. Calories were low just to ease up that big 1kg carb load. We checked out Jay Cutler´s Max muscle store and Firehouse where I will definitely eat after the photoshoot, menu was great.

Saturday:

Photoshoot with Ralph Dehaan at Synergy. Heavy and consuming photoshoot, big weights, 2,5 hours. I was so tired after shoot, I flexed my legs so many times. Awesome experience, photos will be B/W and brutal.

Right after photoshoot to Gold´s gym, cardio and stretching to recover muscles from flexing for 2,5 hours. Samuli “Chef” Koutajoki did bring some rise and chicken from Firehouse…mmmm….sweet! Saturday evening, good food, relaxing and chilling. On sunday back to gym but a diet will now be forgotten for 2 weeks, huge off-season :D

Bull @ Golds Gym Venice

Arrived here on tuesday and I killed a little jet-lag with a leg-training and 1 hour cardio. Gym is cool, lots of weights and machines, this is the Gym!

Wednesday started at 5:30 with 60min cardio + stretching. 10:00 am first training session (quads, hams) and second session at 19.00pm(chest, abs).

So trip to CA has been like work work work.

Btw, it was cool to see legendary Hulk Hogan at Gold´s :)
